Would you like to put your skills to work in a cancer research laboratory?
Join the BoRdeaux Institute of onCology (BRIC) research unit at the University of Bordeaux!
Created in January 2022 and accredited by Inserm and the University of Bordeaux, this joint research unit brings together all the current strengths in cancer research - 260 people in 11 research teams and 4 shared services - under the dual umbrella of Inserm and the University of Bordeaux.
Directly attached to Team 10: “Normal and Leukemic Hematopoietic Stem Cells”, you will join a translational research team made up of researchers, biologists and clinicians. Our research focuses on acute myeloblastic leukemia (AML) and the mechanisms of resistance and persistence of leukemic cells within the hematopoietic niche.
To this end, we use various primary cell models from patients or lines (human or murine), 2D and 3D cultures, as well as preclinical models (mice).
In this context, we are recruiting a study engineer to lead an INCA project on the resistance and persistence of AML leukemia cells within the hematopoietic niche.
Your main mission will be to develop and conduct experimental biology approaches to determine the mechanisms controlling resistance and persistence of AML cells.
The candidate will work with a team researcher and a technician to rapidly become autonomous in biological experimentation and data analysis. He or she will participate in a project of their own and supervise students.
