As part of Brain Cancer Awareness Month, the BRIC is once again organizing its Open House Day on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM, at its facilities located in Pessac, on the Fran\u00e7ois Bordes campus (Building B2).<\/p>\n

This initiative, fully aligned with the goal of science outreach, aims to introduce the general public to the daily life of researchers and recent advances in brain cancer research \u2014 through engaging, accessible formats.<\/p>\n

This free event, open to everyone, will feature:
\nGuided tours of part of the BRIC\u2019s research labs
\nInformation stations with simplified posters, presented by researchers from Team 1
\nMini-seminars
\nDiscussions with scientists, healthcare professionals, and patient advocacy groups, including:<\/p>\n

Participating associations:
La Ligue contre le cancer<\/a>, Des \u00c9toiles dans la Mer<\/a>, ARTC<\/a> (Association for Brain Tumor Research), and ADAM<\/a> (Association for Children with Medulloblastoma).<\/p>\n

This initiative is led by Team 1<\/a> of the BRIC, in collaboration with its institutional sponsors (Inserm<\/a>, University of Bordeaux<\/a>, CNRS<\/a>) and scientific partners (IBGC<\/a> and GBMetabo).<\/p>\n
