This year\u2019s conference will take place at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.labri.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">LaBRI (Bordeaux Computer Science Research Laboratory)<\/a>, bringing together researchers, engineers, PhD students, and professionals from both digital and life sciences to explore the latest developments in the field. <\/p>\n<p data-start=\"775\" data-end=\"887\">Through the ODIL unit (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bricbordeaux.com\/technologies-et-cellule-de-transfert\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Omics Data Integration &amp; visuaLization<\/a>), BRIC\u2019s internal bioinformatics cell, two of our members are currently part of the event\u2019s organizing committee:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"890\" data-end=\"940\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bricbordeaux.com\/people\/cyril-dourthe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cyril Dourthe<\/a>, bioinformatics research engineer (BRIC and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tbmcore.cnrs.fr\/oncoprot\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">OncoProt<\/a> platform)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"890\" data-end=\"940\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bricbordeaux.com\/people\/elodie-darbo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00c9lodie Darbo<\/a>, research engineer in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bricbordeaux.com\/bric-team\/equipe-7-cibler-la-transcription-dans-le-cancer-du-sein\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Team 7 \u2013 Targeting Transcription in Breast Cancer<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1434\">Their involvement reflects the growing role of bioinformatics in oncology research, particularly in the work carried out within our laboratory, where the analysis of large-scale data from RNA-seq, epigenomics, and cell modeling has become an essential foundation.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1481\" data-end=\"1818\">Held at the crossroads of biology, mathematics, and computer science, the JOBIM conference offers a rich program of talks, workshops, roundtables, and networking opportunities.
