Ma thèse en 180 secondes. Alexandra Lehmann in the final at Bordeaux University

The 2024 edition of the “Ma thèse en 180 secondes” scientific mediation competition for doctoral students has been launched! The Université de Bordeaux semi-final took place on March 11 at the Agora du Haut-Carré in Talence with 23 candidates. The aim: to select the 16 doctoral students who will take part in the University of Bordeaux final on March 15.
Congratulations to Alexandra Lehmann, a student in thesis team 3, who presented her subject “Liver damage associated with Alpha 1-Antitrypsin Deficiency: from understanding pathophysiology to identifying diagnostic tools” in 180 seconds top chrono, and was selected for the finals at the University of Bordeaux!

There are now just 16 candidates, and the final will enable 4 of them to take part in the regional grouping on March 19, the final selection stage before the national competition in Paris the following day.
