10 Apr A look back at the “Innovation in oncology” half-day organized by SATT Aquitaine, Inserm-Transfert and the BRIC laboratory.
The “Innovation in Oncology” half-day event took place on April 4, 2025. It was organized by SATT Aquitaine, Inserm-Transfert and the BRIC laboratory.
Focus on the presentation with Grégoire Prévost, an entrepreneur whose residency ended on the occasion of this event.

As part of the event highlighting innovation in oncology, we had the pleasure of opening the ball, on Thursday April 3 at 2pm, with a singular player from our research unit: Grégoire Prévost, the laboratory’s entrepreneur-in-residence.

It was an opportunity for him to look back on the 6 months he has spent with us, and to share with us one last time his vision of the valorization of research. Throughout his speech, he reminded us how important it is to keep in mind that some of our discoveries could have a concrete application.

Feedback from Grégoire Prévost
Without resorting to technical jargon or ready-made promises, Grégoire Prévost recounted his experience of working with young researchers in the BRIC countries, describing his role in advising and supporting them, the obstacles to technology transfer, and the levers for action. His testimony resonated with an audience eager to combine fundamental research with prospects for societal impact.
This meeting enabled us to ask ourselves, for example, how we can better identify results that are likely to have implications beyond the walls of our laboratory.
An enriching moment of exchange, fully in line with BRIC’s commitment to promoting dialogue between science, innovation and society.
