This international conference will mark the second edition of ENLIGHT Cancer Days, following the first edition held in Bordeaux in September 2023, which brought together participants from five European universities.

The 2026 edition will be the highlight of the NetCare network (Network for Cancer Research and Education), which has recently received funding and been recognized as a new ETN (European Thematic Network) within the ENLIGHT alliance, which brings together 10 leading European universities. This alliance brings together the University of the Basque Country (Spain), the University of Bern (Switzerland), Comenius University in Bratislava (Slovakia), the University of Bordeaux (France), the University of Galway (Ireland), the University of Ghent (Belgium), the University of Göttingen (Germany), the University of Groningen (Netherlands), the University of Tartu (Estonia), and Uppsala University (Sweden).

 

The BRIC unit is organizing this international conference on the topic of cancer in the heart of Bordeaux from October 28 to 30, 2026, at the Station Marne (Victoire Campus of the University of Bordeaux).

The scientific program will cover a range of innovative topics, incorporating basic, translational, and clinical research.

The main goal of the conference is to strengthen scientific collaboration in the long term by fostering greater interaction among partner teams.
