The Biological and Medical Sciences Department’s (SBM) first thematic seminar of the year 2025 on “Inflammation in Health and Diseases” will be held on Tuesday March 18, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the amphitheater of the BBS building, on the Carreire campus.

Aksam Merched, team 6 BRIC is organizing this seminar with Vanja Sisirak from ImmunoConcept in collaboration with the Department’s Seminar WG.

Speakers:

• Dr. Magnus BACK , MD, PhD (Karolinska Institute)
• Dr. Emmanuel Laurent GAUTIER , PhD (Sorbonne University)

In addition to the main presentations, we invite doctoral and post-doctoral students to present their work on this theme in a 5-minute “flash presentation” format.

The seminar will be followed by a round-table discussion over a convivial drink in the BBS cafeteria.
