Donation of Noéline’s parents to the MIRCADE team for the research on diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG)

The association “Noeline, my daughter, my battle” was created to raise funds to allow Noeline, 9 years old, diagnosed with a diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), to follow an innovative treatment in clinical trial in the United States. Unfortunately, Noeline passed away on March 22, 2022, 8 months after her diagnosis. As Noeline could not benefit from this treatment, her parents decided to donate the funds collected to GITC research. Thus, on June 17, 2022, theteam 06 – MIRCADE (Methods and Innovations for Research on Childhood Cancers), led by Christophe Grosset received a check for nearly 21 000 € from the association. This donation will be used to finance expenses related to the project of Guillaume Herrault, a PhD student, who started his thesis under the supervision of Christophe Grosset in October 2021 after 5 months as a Master 2 student.
