10 Jul Science popularization: they spread the word about science to high school students during a DUEL
On May 16, Claire Rouy Team 10 (BRIC), Yasmine Pobiedonoscew Team 11 (BRIC), Arthur Poulet Team 10 (BRIC) and Ribal Merhi (ImmunoConcEpt), doctoral students in the SBM department, joined final-year students from Bordeaux’s Lycée François Magendie for the first DUEL (Débat Université Et Lycée). They debated the subject of genetic manipulation. They tell us about their experience and the importance of scientific communication. Objective: to debate a social issue and spread scientific culture and advances in research among high school students.
