Our BRIC unit – BoRdeaux Institute of onCology is delighted to welcome the emerging team : I.CaRe Bordeaux in addition to its 11 current teams.
I.CaRe (programme intégré de recherche & Innovation sur le Cancer du Rein) is part of the Bordeaux University Hospital, Department of Urology, Andrology and Renal Transplantation, and is directed by Professor Jean-Christophe BERNHARD, with whom our researchers have already collaborated.

The team is responsible for a portfolio of projects of excellence in care, research and teaching (https://icare-bordeaux.fr/). This program aims to improve knowledge and management of kidney tumors through innovation, research and self-evaluation, by developing multi-partner academic and industrial research projects in 4 areas:

  • Diagnosis and tumor characterization
  • Prognosis and prediction
  • Innovative care paths
  • Improved minimally invasive surgery
