25 Apr Prizes at the SVS 2025 Doctoral School Day
On April 16, the University of Bordeaux’s Life and Health Sciences Doctoral School held its annual day at the Agora du Haut-Carré, a prestigious hall in Talence.
The Life and Health Sciences doctoral school (SVS) brings together all the biology-health research units at the University of Bordeaux, and organizes doctoral training for over 400 doctoral students around its 12 research specialties. Its director, Martin Teichmann, is also head of our unit’s Team 7.
It’s an opportunity for our thesis students to present their work and meet other students.
Congratulations to the students who won prizes on the day! We are proud to count two of our students among them:
🏆 Best Flash Talk of the Day – People’s Choice Award: Lindita Lari, first-year PhD student, Team 10, Normal and Leukemic Hematopoietic Stem Cells.
🏆 Best Poster of the Day – Jury Prize : Ana Sofía Vázquez Uriolasecond-year PhD student, team 4, Helicobacter-associated digestive cancers, cancer stem cells and therapeutic strategies
